• 가사는 그냥 여기저기서 생각나는 데서 따온 것이라고 한다. 가령 곡의 제목인 Shakermaker는 70년대 당시 갤러거 형제들이 가지고 놀던 장남감의 이름이었으며, Mr. Clean은 더 잼의 가사에서, Mister Sifter는 맨체스터에 있는 음반 가게에서 따온 거라고 한다.
• 오아시스는 이 곡이 코카콜라의 광고노래인 New Seekers의 I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing의 멜로디를 표절한 것이 인정되어 호주 달러 50만 달러[3]를 물어냈다.(...) 나중에는 본인들 콘서트에서 해당 파트를 코카콜라 CM 송의 가사로 바꾸어 부르기도 했다. 이 판결 이후 노엘의 반응은 '자 이제 우리 모두 펩시를 마시자!'
• 차트 순위 자체(11위)는 Supersonic(31위)보다 월등히 높았지만, 싱글 판매량은 훨씬 뒤쳐진다. Supersonic이 오아시스 데뷔 후 30년이 다 되어가는 지금까지도 꾸준히 사랑받고 있는데 반해, Shakermaker는 오아시스 정규1집 Definitely Maybe에서 싱글로 발매된 곡 중 유일하게 실버 인증[4]을 받지 못했다. 싱글곡임에도 오아시스 팬들에겐 큰 임팩트가 없으며, 오히려 지역한정 싱글로 발매된 1집의 다른 수록곡인 Rock 'N' Roll Star, Slide Away나 Columbia 같은 곡이 인기가 더 많다.
