- 엘튼 존이 소유한 스타인웨이 어쿠스틱 그랜드 피아노를 빌려 처음 11번의 콘서트에 사용했다. 몬트리올에서 시카고로 이동하는 트럭이 눈보라로 인해 사고를 당했고 그날 밤 승무원은 사용할 다른 스타인웨이를 신속히 찾아야 했다. 엘튼 존의 피아노가 영원히 분실되었는지 아니면 나머지 투어 동안 다시 사용했는지는 알 수 없다. 일주일 후 매디슨 스퀘어 가든에서 프레디 머큐리는 확실히 스타인웨이를 연주하고 있었다.
